Alternative Rock Band from Kedah, Malaysia. Formed in 2019 by Nazrin and Jay (an ex-member). Majnun consists of Hazi, Am, Ainol Nazrin, Faris, and Fai. The original member of Majnun was Nazrin; and the others started joining between late 2022 and early 2023.
Since its formation, Majnun has been making waves in the local music scene, playing gigs and festivals at renowned venues and gaining a dedicated following of fans in early 2022. Majnun currently has two singles, Rising and Hopeless, available on digital platforms.
Songwriting references are mostly based on modern alternative rock, such as ‘Silverstein. Majnun’s lyrics have mostly been written by Nazrin, and the music arrangements were also done by Nazrin and assisted by the other members
