Singapore’s Neon Lights Festival finalizes its music lineup, adding five more highly-anticipated acts to the star-studded roster, including an act that will be bringing their full live audiovisual show to Singapore for the first time since 2010. Lending an indie-electronica twist, the five new acts: 2manydjs (live), Chairlift, SBTRKT, Mad Professor and .gif. unite Neon Lights’ diverse and discerning offering to meet the genuine love of music of Neon Lights-goers. Neon Lights will also serve up a silent disco for a unique party experience. The discerning two-day weekend music and arts festival brings together international and local performers, including 23 music acts, for a massive celebration of music and the arts at Fort Canning Park on Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 November.

Brimming with a multitude of premium activities, sights and sounds, Neon Lights has partnered with OPPO, Scoot, Tigerair, Link Hotel and Uber to suit up all festival goers with the perfect kit.


Saturday, 26 November: 2manydjs (live)

Performing exclusively in the region at Neon Lights is theDJ duo Stephen and David Dewaeleknown as 2manydjs. The pioneers of the electro ‘mash-up’ genre, 2manydjs will be bringing a captivatinglive set complete with audio visual treats of animations and synchronizing images with sound for the ultimate ‘feel-good’ showcase.A prominent presence at festivals worldwide, 2manydjs has been known for their incredible live shows playingeclectic mash-ups of genres from crowd favourites to modern hits. Theymost recently released two brand-new Soulwax remixes for Monika’s ‘Secret in The Dark’ and Bullion’s ‘It’s No Spirit.’ Having last been to Singapore in 2014 for a DJ set at FREQOUT, 2manydjs’ exclusive performance at Neon Lights will be their first full Iive show in Singapore since 2010.


Saturday, 26 November: Chairlift& SBTRKT


Also returning to Singapore to deliver a dance-worthy performance is the indie-electronica band Chairlift with the dreamy voice of Caroline Polachek and bandmate Patrick Wimberly. Of ‘Bruises’ fame, which launched their careers back in 2005, Chairlift has since collaborated with Beyonce on ‘No Angel’ in 2013 and launched the soulful album ‘Moth’ in 2016.


One of the most exciting indie artists at the moment SBTRKT will join Saturday’s lineup with a sensational DJ set with curated visuals – his first show in Singapore since a sold out show at Home club in 2012. Aaron Jerome’s compelling style of contemporary electronica and remixes of MIA, Basement Jaxx, Mark Ronson and Underworld are set to thrill Neon Lights attendees. SBTRKT’s spirited stage performances have been described as “infectious” by critics and even inspired Drake to remix the widely popular ‘Wildfire’ in 2011.


Saturday’s lineup of music: Foals, 2manydjs (live), SBTRKT, Chairlift, Crystal Castles, Gentle Bones, Neon Indian, Lucy Rose, Shura, The Sugarhill Gang, Gold Panda, Cashew Chemist, Disco Hue and Silent Disco.


Sunday, 27 November: Mad Professor


Globally renowned Reggae legend Mad Professor makes his way to Neon Lights for his inaugural performance in the Garden City. The world music legend, who has collaborated with Sade, Massive Attack and The Orb, is set to create an even more tranquil ambiance with his originals hits, rounding up Neon Lights’ intimate Sunday vibe, which includes Sigur Rós and Yuna.


Sunday, 27 November: .gif


Making their debut at Neon Lights is Singapore’s experimental ambient electro duo.gif. The youthful Weish and Din complete the local musical contingent, which includes Gentle Bones, Cashew Chemists, Disco Hue and Linying. .gif has taken the region by storm since coming onto the scene in 2012 and most recently completed a tour across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and an appearance at BIGSOUND 2016.


Sunday’s music lineup: Sigur Rós, Yuna, Jose Gonzalez, Blood Orange, George Clinton & Parliament/ Funkadelic, The Tallest Man on Earth, 65daysofstatic, BADBADNOTGOOD, Mad Professor, Pumarosa, Linying, .gif and Silent Disco.

On both days of the festival, expect a mindful experience of enjoying live music with the unique silent disco offering brought by Silent Disco Asia. By wearing individual wireless headsets and listening to the live-stream of the performing artistes, silent disco-ers focus entirely on the music for an immersive experience.
